Request & project start
The client approached us through a personal recommendation, requesting a logo and brand identity. Initially, they didn’t have a clear vision of the final result: fragmented thoughts like “Skin… Skin Code… Uniqueness… Maybe a barcode logo?” were shared.
The project quickly expanded, turning into a full-scale clinic branding, covering:
Two logos: SkinCode (clinic) and SkinCode School
Interior branding: facade, reception, treatment rooms
Signage and navigation design
Printed materials and advertising assets
Pattern for branded surfaces
Graphic designs for clinic interiors
Challenges & project scope
After the very first call, I immediately identified the scale of the project and assembled a dedicated team.
The process took about six months, involving research, visual data collection, and numerous discussions.
💡 A key success factor was active client involvement, allowing us to deeply immerse ourselves in the theme and develop the perfect branding concept.
Unexpected challenge: The design was so successful that a competing clinic shamelessly copied it. But instead of frustration, it was a clear sign that we nailed it! 😎
My role in the project
Given the complexity of the project, I took on multiple roles:
✅ Project manager – Coordinated the entire process and communication
✅ Information analyst – Gathered insights and helped the client refine their vision
✅ Strategic mediator – Connected the client, designers, builders, and contractors, ensuring concept consistency
🔹 A key skill I brought to the project was translating across industries – bridging communication gaps between stakeholders with different technical backgrounds.
Results
🔥 When the clinic opened, something unexpected happened:
